The organization of protests in 2023 is literally costing Marina Tauber. The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the first instance in one of the contravention episodes involving the deputy, who is accused of falsifying the financial reports of the now-unconstitutional Shor Party and of accepting money from an organized criminal group. Tauber is required to pay a 3,500 lei fine for organizing an unauthorized protest in the Botanica sector of the capital city. Marina Tauber, who is reported to have left the Republic of Moldova, is also facing three other contravention cases, mainly related to organizing protest demonstrations and insulting police officers. At the beginning of April this year, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office completed the presentation of evidence against Marina Tauber and the former Shor Party. The case includes four charges related to falsifying financial reports for the election campaign and the political party, and accepting illegal financing from an organized criminal group.

In March 2023, the former Shor Party organized a series of protests in Chișinău. During these events, Marina Tauber attempted to force her way into the Government building.
Although police had prohibited protesters from approaching the Government building, Marina Tauber led the crowd toward it.
Protesters clashed with law enforcement officers, who restricted their access.
