Businessman Ion Sturza, former prime minister of Moldova suggests to Maia Sandu, president of the Party Action and Solidarity to make alliance with Andrei Nastase, leader of the Party Dignity and Truth. The businessman writes on his Facebook account  that  the leader of PAS believes that she will reach the second round and “it takes a half step to become president": "This is what polls  of Mr. Plahotniuc say, he is a trustworthy person and he promised to Mrs. Nuland that Moldova will remain without communists and will have a pro-Western president, elected by all «people». You fit the best this profile of American dream ?! "In response, Maia Sandu claims that PAS, PPDA and PLDM agreed to assess the chances of the two candidates in polls other than those that would be controlled by democrat Plahotniuc, to break the vicious practice of making decisions based on the opinions of "prophets".

„I also know that you consider me a guy with a dubious past that smells of Panama Papers, I permit myself to give you a piece of advice publicly: you matter if you form alliance with Andrei Nastase. Separately, the Moldovans will forget about you till the New Year. You huff with Iurie Leanca, complain on procedures, appeal to “structures”, while your real enemies, Igor Dodon and Marian Lupu, “work it out”. I understand that the love of money is the root of all evil and innocence is a brand that can be bought. But politics is a crappy business, often unscrupulous and not at all romantic. Two professions are eternal: politics and prostitution”, writes Ion Sturza on his Facebook account.

In this context, the businessman writes that the civic forum from Thursday, September 8 is the “last chance”.  „ You cannot practice politics because of frustration, of irritation, without a team and many activists. Without resources and new ideas. You took over a phenomenon, “Maia Sandu”, that does not belong to you. The same like Nastase took over the protesting phenomenon. Both of you have an enormous responsibility, don't mess up! I know that you are expected in Washington and Frankfurt, in case of... But I do not think that you have the right to mess up. It is not a personal stake; it is a stake of all of us. Also, I know that Andrei is ready to cede. How strange it would be, it is important for him to break the system, and not the position itself. But he will not do it through humiliation. His team will certainly not do it so, either. Leave aside the thing with the polls and other foolishness. Unite now! Or get separated.. Civic Forum organized tomorrow is the last chance. It does not matter who is the first”, said Ion Sturza.

In response, Maia Sandu said he wanted to break the vicious practice of making decisions based on the opinions of "prophets". "You are Mr. Know-all. You seem that you know better than me what decision to take. I can tell you one thing: I made a commitment and I respect it. We agreed together (PAS, PPDA and PLDM) to assess the chances of the two candidates in polls other than those of Plahotniuc. We want to break the vicious practice of making decisions based on the opinions of "prophets". We want to know whom people will vote with. This means democracy, not " foolishness". By the way, the problem is not that there are two eternal professions: politics and prostitution, the problem is that you politicians, you've mixed them successfully and tell us that this is normal and moral. No, it is neither normal nor moral. Regarding the Civic Forum, I do not understand why the representative of Our Party, a party that announced its own candidate must participate in discussions to identify  the joint candidate of PAS, PPDA and PLDM", said Maia Sandu on Facebook.
