The General Prosecutor’s Office proposes to the Government, the Parliament, and the Presidency a complex internal audit in all public institutions in order to confirm or deny the existence of corruption schemes.

The General Prosecutor’s Office argues that this is a mechanism for working with central public authorities to fight high-level corruption. The initiative of the prosecutor’s office also provides for the involvement in this process of the financial and revision institutions. Also, the prosecutor’s office states that it is willing to offer the most experienced and specialized prosecutors to ensure the investigation of corruption schemes
