The website training.chamber.md, associated with the Entrepreneurial Training Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, hosted an SEO spam page for an illegal online casino for 49 days before the content was removed following a civic report. The page, published on April 16, 2026, promoted "real money pokies" for the Australian market and disappeared within a few hours after the incident was reported on June 4, 2026.

According to available information, the suspicious URL was formatted as best-real-money-pokies-australia and contained elements typical of a gambling affiliate site, including banners, bonuses, and links to online platforms. The domain belongs to a public institution that organizes training for entrepreneurs and runs education and digitalization programs, making the appearance of this content unusual and highly indicative of a web compromise.

Following the report, the page was deleted, and the main domain went into maintenance. At the time of publication, neither the Chamber of Commerce nor any other institutions mentioned in the report have publicly confirmed receiving the notification, nor have they offered an explanation regarding the incident or the security measures to be taken.

Notifications have also been sent to the competent authorities in Moldova, including the ASC/NCSC and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) cybercrime reporting platform.

This incident occurs in a context where the digital infrastructure of the Chamber of Commerce also hosts projects supported by international partners, including DT4SME initiatives funded by BMZ and implemented by GIZ.
