Police and prosecutors announced that they had found a paramilitary group that was preparing attacks over state institutions in the Republic of Moldova, Radio Chisinau reports.
The police are performing searches at the homes and cars of 11 suspects. This group aimed to organize an armed attack over state institutions, reports the General Police Inspectorate.
The searches are taking place in several settlements in the north of the country and in Chisinau, said the press service of the General Police Inspectorate for Radio Chisinau. 5 persons were arrested, including the group leader. One of the members comes from the Donbas region, Ukraine. The suspects have criminal records.
They are being investigated in a criminal case started on 27 October, for establishing or leading a criminal organization.
