Anticoruptie.md: A modern digital space for our readers
Readers of Anticoruptie.md can now access investigative reports, breaking news, and the resources of the Centre for Investigative Journalism in Moldova (CIJM) more quickly and easily with the launch of the portal's new version. The redesigned website went live on June 27, marking the 23rd anniversary of the CIJM's registration.
While retaining the main sections and features familiar to readers, the platform now offers a modern design, a clearer structure, and more intuitive navigation. Visitors can continue to find investigative reports produced by the CIJM team, along with news covering corruption, court cases, and public procurement.
Cornelia Cozonac, President of the Centre for Investigative Journalism in Moldova (CIJM), said that Anticoruptie.md has built a strong reputation in investigative journalism over the years. She noted that launching the new website on the anniversary of the organization's founding is more than a coincidence. It reflects the continuing public need for high quality information and investigative reporting.
"Anticoruptie.md was the first online platform in the Republic of Moldova to bring together breaking news and investigative journalism in one place. For decades, we have remained committed to the principles of fair, impartial, and independent journalism. As a result, the portal has built one of the country's most extensive archives, which has been fully preserved in the new version of the website.
Anticoruptie.md was also the first platform in Moldova designed to allow citizens to report corruption and related offenses. Users can report abuse and misconduct by public officials, influence peddling, conflicts of interest, incompatibilities, a lack of transparency in public institutions, the fraudulent management of public funds, undeclared or illicitly acquired assets, and any other acts or situations that may give rise to corruption.
The Corruption Map section has not only been retained but has also been upgraded to provide readers with easier access and a better user experience," Cozonac said.
The website has been optimized for desktop computers as well as smartphones and tablets.
To make finding content easier, one of the site's most visited sections, Legal cases, has been reorganized into three separate categories: Corruption Cases, Court Cases, and Assets and Interests.

The portal also continues to offer users the opportunity to report cases of corruption or violations of legal procedures committed by public authorities and institutions through the Corruption Map.

In addition, the website remains an open platform where professionals from various fields can share their views in the Blog section. Readers who wish to receive the CIJM newsletter as soon as it is published can now subscribe directly through the website.

The new platform focuses on accessibility and better content organization, making it easier for readers to find the information they need and navigate seamlessly between different sections of the site.
The project was implemented with the financial support of the Soros Foundation Moldova, which has supported the Centre for Investigative Journalism in Moldova since the organization's establishment.
