Prime Minister-designate Ion Sturza and candidates for minister signed integrity statements on Sunday, January 3. Text of the declaration includes a number of criteria of integrity that were worked out by several active Moldovan NGOs in anti-corruption, including the Center for Investigative Journalism. Prime Minister-designate Ion Sturza claims that he proposed to the candidates for minister to sign an integrity statement on their own account because transparency and integrity are important for a functional administration.

- did not collaborate with the secret services of state;

-provided accurate data in CV;

- has finished studies at a known institution in country and/or abroad;

- has not made discriminatory, xenophobic and racial declarations.

Each candidate for minister has declared that the data and information in this statement are true and they will continue to meet the requirements outlined above throughout their activity if they are appointed. They said they were aware of the fact that if they take actions or if information is revealed about them which contravenes to the criteria mentioned above, they will resign or accept their dismissal.
