The National Transport Agency provides transportation of Ukrainian refugees on the territory of the Republic of Moldova

The National Automobile Transport Agency together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide all necessary support for the transport of citizens arriving from Ukraine through the Palanca and Otaci border crossing points.

Carriers will provide daily transportation of all those in need of assistance, from the Palanca and Otaci border crossing points to their destination, as needed.

According to the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the following means of transport have been prepared:

  • buses with a capacity of up to 21 seats (over 20 transport units available daily);
  • buses with a capacity of up to 40 seats (10 transport units available daily);
  • cars providing taxi services, capacity up to 4 people (cars, more than 25 daily transport units).

The Government also informs that ANTA inspectors are deployed in the immediate vicinity of the two border crossing points, in order to ensure an organized and continuous process of transporting citizens in conditions of safety and comfort.

The Government of the Republic of Moldova informs that they have established the following corridors / routes:

  1. Route no. 1: PTF Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe – Ștefan Vodă – Causeni – Chisinau – Temporary refugee placement center (route R52 – R30 – R2);
  2. Route no. 2: PTF Tudora-Starokazacie – Ștefan Vodă – Causeni – Chisinau – Temporary refugee placement center (route R52 – R30);
  3. Route no. 3: PTF Otaci-Mohiliv-Podilsk – Balti – Chisinau – Temporary refugee placement center (route E583 – M5);
  4. Route no. 4: PTF Criva-Mămăliga – Lipcani – Bălți – Chisinau – Temporary refugee placement center (route M5);
  5. Route 5: Mirnoe-Taban PTF – Cimișlia – Chisinau – Temporary refugee placement center (route M3);
  6. Chisinau – PTF Leuseni-Albita – Romania / EU (route M1);
  7. Chisinau – Ungheni – PTF Sculeni (route R1).
