The Supreme Court of Justice declared as inadmissible the appeal filed by the former prosecutor Lilian Rudei, by which he requested the cancellation of the order by which he was dismissed. He declares that he was forced by the suspended general prosecutor, Alexandr Stoianoglo, to give up his position.

On September 9, 2020, Lilian Rudei filed a summons against the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the annulment of the unfavorable individual administrative act, reinstatement of employment, collection of salary for the period of forced absence, and reparation of the damage. Rudei complained that he submitted his resignation request following some constraints, namely after he found out that the General Prosecutor at the time, Alexandr Stoianoglo, started the criminal investigation against him.

By the decision of the Chisinau Court, Râșcani office from November  9, 2021, , the summons request was rejected as unfounded,  this decision being upheld by the Chisinau Court of Appeal as well.

On December 14, the panel specialized in examining actions in administrative litigation of the Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Litigation College of the Supreme Court of Justice reached the irrevocable conclusion that the appeal filed by Lilian Rudei cannot be declared admissible.

The former anti-corruption prosecutor, Lilian Rudei, is the lawyer of Violeta Ivanov, one of the five former communist deputies arrested on suspicion of having negotiated the transfer of their colleagues, in December 2015, to the group led by the oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc.

Lilian Rudei left the prosecutor's office on January 27, 2020, "on his initiative", in the context of the scandal between the General Prosecutor's Office headed by Alexandr Stoianoglo, and the former head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, Viorel Morari.

Lilian Rudei started his career in the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office on August 25, 2005, and came to the attention of public opinion in 2013, after he was given the management of the file filed on behalf of the former head of the State Tax Service, Nicolae Vicol.

He left the Republic of Moldova in 2015 after the trial court sentenced him to six years with execution. On June 30, 2020, the Chisinau Court of Appeal annulled the sentence and remitted the corruption case from the State Tax Service to the trial court.

Lilian Rudei was the subject of several journalistic investigations because of the generous donations received from her relatives.
